What are the Fund’s Goals?

The founders of the Fund recognized that excellent and compassionate patient care can only be maintained through ongoing education and training. Thus, the Fund was established to underwrite medical scholarship for the Hospital’s dedicated healthcare providers.

The founders also recognized that with accurate information patients and families are in a better position to make choices regarding their health and medical care. Thus, the Fund also supports educational activities that benefit patients and families.

Why is the Fund Important?

Financial resources are rarely sufficient to meet all of the needs of a complex medical enterprise, such as Saint Vincent Hospital. With limited resources, some valuable projects must go unsupported. The Fund provides resources for educational activities that might not otherwise occur or that might place a financial burden on healthcare providers.
