Chief Medical Officer at Saint Vincent Hospital

 

Octavio Diaz, M.D., has been promoted to Chief Medical Officer at Saint Vincent Hospital. 

 

Dr. Diaz joined Saint Vincent Hospital as Chief of Emergency Medicine in 2004 and since that time has taken an active role in improving the delivery of emergency care services.  He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1987 and completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcester, in 1990.  He is board certified in emergency medicine.

 

Dr. Diaz also holds a masters degree in Public Health from Boston University and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
