Susana B. Cosgrove has been named Saint Vincent Hospital’s new Interpreter Services Supervisor. In her new role Ms. Cosgrove will direct and oversee the daily operations of the Interpreter Services Department.

Ms. Cosgrove is bilingual in English and Spanish and has completed a variety of programs including a Bilingual Medical Interpreting Training Program and the MMIA Mental Health Program for Medical Interpreters at UMass Memorial Medical Center. She also has experience working with pediatric patients and completed an Advanced Pediatric

Training—called Children & Interpreting Situations—as part of the University of Massachusetts Continuing Education Medical Training program.

Ms. Cosgrove has an extensive background in healthcare and worked in Saint Vincent Hospital’s Materials Management Department and Trauma Department before becoming the hospital’s Interim Interpreter Supervisor back in August of 2006.
