A multi-specialty group practice, Saint Vincent Medical Group (SVMG) provides selected physician and allied health professional services at Saint Vincent Hospital. The activities of SVMG are coordinated with the hospital and integrated into the hospital’s overall strategic plan.

Among the services provided to physicians and allied health professionals in SVMG are included the following:
- A compensation plan with a base salary and bonus component
- Contracting with insurance companies and other third party payers
- Comprehensive billing and collection services
- Support to ensure compliance with the regulatory expectations of Medicare, Medicaid and other federal and state agencies

Governance
The CEO of Saint Vincent Hospital is also the President of SVMG. This relationship ensures productive collaboration and focused initiatives by the two entities. The Director of SVMG is responsible for all operations. An Executive Council reviews all aspects of SVMG. The Council includes the President, Chief Medical Officer, Chief of Medicine, Chief of Surgery and Chief of Anesthesiology.
