Welcome to Saint Vincent Hospital

Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) went live on the first nurse station at Saint Vincent Hospital on October 18, 2011 followed in rapid succession by all other nurse stations.  The scope of Phase 1 of CPOE is only for inpatient units.   

Units not included in Phase I at this time are:  ICU/PCU, PAT, Holding Area, OR, PACU, CWI, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Cath-Lab, IR and all outpatient areas.

Medication Reconciliation went live on Tuesday, February 28, 2012.  Places Out of Scope for Electronic Medication Reconciliation include:  SDS, Maternity, Pediatrics, ICU, ED (non-admitted patients) and Psychiatry.
