Medical Imaging Services
Saint Vincent Hospital offers an advanced filmless Radiology Department geared to serving the communities diagnostic needs.
The Department of Radiology provides a full array of diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic radiologic and nuclear medicine services. The department is staffed by board certified radiologists and supports a fully accredited independent Radiology residency training program. Services are provided on a scheduled or on an emergency basis to both inpatients and outpatients, from newborns to the elderly, by Radiologists, residents and technologists.

Department of Radiology ACR Accreditation Status
The Deparment of Radiology at Saint Vincent Hospital is proud to have received accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR) for the following sections:
- Mammography
- Ultrasound
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Computer Tomography (CT)
- Nuclear Medicine

PET Imaging
The ACR is a national organization that "has devoted its resources to making imaging safe, effective, and accessible to those who need it." To receive this accreditation, our department voluntarily went through a rigorous review process to ensure that we met nationally accepted standards. Patients can be confident that our facility meets or exceeds quality assurance and safety guidelines, and Saint Vincent Hospital now appears on the list of ACR accredited facilities on their website
www.acr.org. In addition, this accreditation also recognizes that our radiologists are "well-qualified, through education and certification, to perform and interpret" patient's medical images.
