Do you have Joe’s throbbing shoulder?

If you’ve had a bad fall, and your shoulders or back have been hurting ever since, you can probably relate to Joe. Two months after he slipped and landed on his shoulder, Joe experienced excessive pain that just wouldn’t go away. He finally met with the physicians at Saint Vincent Hospital who advised him to have rotator cuff surgery.

Joe explains, "During surgery, the doctors found that the damage to my shoulder was even greater than they thought. But six weeks later, after some excellent rehab and support from the hospital staff, I felt great. Unfortunately, I had another bad fall two years after my surgery and dislocated my shoulder. But thanks to the same caring PT staff, I was back to my old self in no time."

Recently, Joe had knee replacement surgery at the hospital and is watching his every step. But if he does fall again, he knows Saint Vincent Hospital will be there to pick him back up.
