DialysisThe Saint Vincent Hospital Dialysis Unit at Worcester Medical Center is a licensed member of the End Stage Renal Disease Network.

The Hemodialysis Unit is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday, for chronic Hemodialysis treatments.

Hours:
Mondays – Wednesday – Friday
6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Tuesday – Thursday – Saturday
6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The Clinic has nine chronic stations and one isolation station.

The Peritoneal Dialysis Unit is open Monday through Friday for Peritoneal Dialysis training and support visits.

Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The Hemodialysis staff rotates on an on-call schedule to provide emergent hemodialysis treatments for those patients who may come to the Emergency Room in fluid overload, electrolyte imbalance or other problems which may require emergency treatment. The Clinic will admit all patients ages 12 and older with the primary diagnosis of chronic renal failure needing maintenance dialysis and referred to Saint Vincent Hospital by a staff Nephrologist.
