Psychiatric Services
If you or someone you love needs help, we are here. The Center for Psychiatry of Saint Vincent Hospital is located at 121 Providence Street on Vernon Hill in Worcester, MA 01604 and has been in existence for over 50 years and provides a local resource in times of crisis for individuals experiencing psychiatric or emotional difficulties. Our 28-bed unit offers short-term, intensive care for patients 16 years and older in a hospital setting. Our focus is on rapid stabilization of acute psychiatric symptoms in preparation for returning the patient safely to the community.
At Saint Vincent Hospital, we recognize that every person is unique. That is why we individualize treatment plans according to the specific needs of each individual. We accomplish this through daily assessment and treatment oversight by a psychiatrist and a coordinated, goal-driven plan of care delivered by an interdisciplinary team of highly skilled health professionals. By combining extensive clinical expertise with a compassionate, caring treatment philosophy, we have created a progressive program known for providing a positive patient experience.
