3 Where can I find more information about health issues?
There are many resources for health information including online health information located on our saintvincenthospital.com website and in our medical library located on the second floor.
The John J. Dumphy Memorial Library provides healthcare information for employees, staff members, and affiliates of St. Vincent Hospital. In addition to patient care, we support education, research, and management/administrative decision-making. Patients and their families may also use the library during normal business hours. If possible, a brief call in advance will confirm for non-staff users that the librarian will be available to assist them.
For consumers, we have a selection of both print and electronic resources available here in the hospital library. In addition, we work closely with the Lifetime Center for Family Health Library to provide health information that is meaningful.
Hours: The library, located on 2 South is staffed from 7 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
