Hemodialysis Unit

The Saint Vincent Hospital Dialysis Unit at Worcester Medical Center is a licensed member of the End Stage Renal Disease Network.

The Hemodialysis Unit is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday, for chronic Hemodialysis treatments.


Monday – Wednesday – Friday

6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Tuesday – Thursday – Saturday

6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

We have nine chronic stations and one isolation station.

Peritoneal Dialysis Unit

The Peritoneal Dialysis Unit is open Monday through Friday for Peritoneal Dialysis training and support visits.


Monday – Friday

8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

We also provide hemodialysis treatments to patients who come to the Emergency Room in fluid overload, electrolyte imbalance or other problems requiring emergency treatment.

The Clinic will admit all patients ages 12 and older with the primary diagnosis of chronic renal failure needing maintenance dialysis and referred to Saint Vincent Hospital by a staff nephrologist.
