Most Memorable Job before SVH: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer hands-on experience in Houston. This boosted my confidence during my internship in IM as I felt very comfortable during procedures.

Favorite Movie: The wedding party Part 1 and 2. This is a must watch Nigerian romantic comedy drama!

Personal Interests/Hobbies: Cooking, running, reading, spending time with family and friends, traveling

Favorite Food: Varies but my home country foods come first on my list. "Amiwo" (dough made with corn flour, tomato paste and chicken stock) with grilled chicken or Fufu with Okra sauce containing crabs, shrimps, fish and meat are the most delicious dishes that I always crave.

Why SVH Rad: Dr Bader and all the other attendings seemed genuinely interested in my aims and goals for a radiology residency. It was wonderful how all the residents were genuine and welcoming, and overall it felt like a great fit. I also Love living in the New England region, which has plenty to offer all within driving distance.

Why SVH Rad: SVH Rad is a close-knit program with massive emphasis on Resident Education and Training. High Attending to Resident ratio and no Fellows. This ensures Residents get the individualized attention they need, especially while starting out. Twice daily conferences, the individualized frequent read-out sessions with the attendings, all make up for great learning. Plethora of resources to aid in the training and board prep.

Favorite Movie/TV Shows: Inception, 3 Idiots, Namastey London, Eat Pray Love

Personal Interests/Hobbies: I love to travel and New England has no dearth of places to explore. Beaches, hiking trails, mountains and even NYC, all are within a few hours driving distance. I like to play badminton, swim and explore local restaurants with friends during my free time.

Favorite Food: Chicken Tikka Masala, Fish Tacos, Chole Bhature. (and I’m hungry now)
