Saint Vincent Hospital Governing Board Welcomes Hanover Insurance Executive Carrie Farrell

Mar 2, 2017
Worcester, MA (2/28/2017) —  Saint Vincent Hospital welcomes Hanover Insurance Group Vice President Carrie Farrell as its newest governing board member. The board is responsible for setting forth Saint Vincent’s mission of care and providing a clear vision and goals for the hospital.

“As a trusted community leader, Carrie will bring her diverse business experience and her deep connection to the central Massachusetts region to help guide our hospital’s future,” said Steve MacLauchlan, CEO of Saint Vincent.

Farrell leads the Worcester-based insurance company’s human resources business partner organization and is responsible for the business and personal insurance lines, along with specialty and corporate functions. Formerly, she was a global human resources leader at Towers Watson in Boston.

“I am so honored to join this group of professionals dedicated to providing high-quality care for patients in central Massachusetts,” said Farrell, who earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Assumption College. She lives in Marlborough with her family.

At its recent meeting, the hospital also named Kathryn Zingg Hunter, President/CEO YMCA of Central Massachusetts as governing board chair, and Peter Lindblad, MD, as vice chair.
