Jeffrey Thomas Named Chief Financial Officer of Saint Vincent Hospital

Worcester, Mass. – Saint Vincent Hospital is pleased to announce Jeffrey Thomas as the new chief financial officer (CFO) of Saint Vincent Hospital and the Massachusetts Market, including MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham and Natick. In his role, Thomas will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations for both hospitals.

With more than 30 years in the healthcare finance industry, Thomas has improved revenue performance, executed financial turnaround, identified opportunities to reduce costs, overseen 3K+ employees and developed strategic financial plans supporting business expansions.

In addition to his most recent position as CFO Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in in Missouri, Thomas has also held the CFO position at systems in Cleveland, Tennessee; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Clarksville, Tennessee; Marion, Illinois; and Bennettsville, South Carolina. His healthcare finance career also includes stops in Ohio and Texas.

He graduated from Youngstown State University in Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Thomas has three grown daughters with families of their own. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, camping and music.
