Saint Vincent Hospital Celebrates Physicians at Annual Medical Staff Dinner
Boylston, Mass. – Saint Vincent Hospital recently held its annual Medical Staff Dinner at the Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston. The event, held each year, honors the contributions of physicians to the mission of Saint Vincent Hospital and recognizes their dedication to patient care.
Over 120 physicians and guests attended the evening to celebrate accomplishments and recognize milestone years of service.
This year, the medical staff selected the following physicians for peer-recognized awards:
- Physician of the Year: Kala Seetharaman, MD – This award recognizes a physician who has made exceptional contributions to department or program management, improved patient care, and strengthened collaboration across the hospital and community.
- Lifetime Achievement Award: Noreen LaSalle Green, MD – This award honors a physician with a long and distinguished career who has made significant contributions to patient care, medical advances, and Saint Vincent Hospital.
- Up and Coming Physician: Mahawa Sam, MD – This award recognizes a newer physician who has already made a meaningful impact on patient care, the hospital, and the community.
The hospital also celebrated physicians marking milestone years of service:
- 40 Years of Service: Jane Lochrie, MD
- 35 Years of Service: Gary Keilson, MD; Michael Kelfer, MD; Thomas Patnaude, MD
- 25 Years of Service: Susan George, MD; Joseph LaConte, DPM; John Najjar, MD; Bogdan Nedelescu, MD; Georgios Poniros, DPM; Eddison Ramsaran, MD; John Scheffel, DPM
“Each year, this dinner allows us to honor the exceptional physicians who dedicate themselves to providing outstanding care to our patients and community,” said Dr. Andrea Chiaramonte, President of the Saint Vincent Hospital Medical Staff. “We are proud to recognize their achievements, service milestones, and the meaningful impact they make every day at Saint Vincent Hospital.”
