Saint Vincent Hospital Names Lauren Maldonado Allied Angel Award Winner

Worcester, MA – January 30, 2019 - Saint Vincent Hospital in Massachusetts is proud to name Lauren Maldonado as the January 2019 Allied Angel Award recipient.

Maldonado resides in Rutland, Massachusetts. She began her tenure at Saint Vincent Hospital in December 1994 and currently works as a physical therapist.

Maldonado was nominated for the award by a recent physical therapy patient.

The nomination reads “Lauren is very professional and her encouragement is a critical factor in my long and painful journey of healing. When I forgot to schedule appointments ahead of time and available appointments became limited, she offered to come in early to squeeze me in. She does not give up on her patients and maintains a positive, professional attitude.”

The Allied Angel Award is presented to a non-nursing member of the Saint Vincent Hospital team to celebrate their dedicated work to the hospital’s overall mission of providing compassionate and quality health care to the Greater Worcester community.
