Accessibility Statement

We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. To do so, we are actively working with consultants to update the website by increasing its accessibility and usability by persons who use assistive technologies such as automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.

We are working to have the website conform to the relevant standards of the Section 508 Web Accessibility Standards developed by the United States Access Board, as well as the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These standards and guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. We believe that conformance with these standards and guidelines will help make the website more user friendly for all people.

Our efforts are ongoing. While we strive to have the website adhere to these guidelines and standards, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. If, at any time, you have specific questions or concerns about the accessibility of any particular webpage, please contact WebsiteAccess@tenethealth.com so that we may be of assistance.

Saint Vincent Hospital Receives Top Score for Patient Safety

Apr 17, 2017

WORCESTER, MA  (April 18, 2017)  Saint Vincent Hospital earns an “A” Hospital Safety Score from The Leapfrog Group, a non-profit patient safety advocacy organization. The spring 2017 Hospital Safety Score, which rates how well hospitals protect patients from errors, injuries and infections, is compiled under the guidance of the nation’s leading experts in patient safety. This is Saint Vincent’s seventh consecutive “A” since the inception of the ratings three years ago.

“At Saint Vincent Hospital, we are committed to making sure our patients feel comfortable in knowing they are receiving the best treatment in the safest possible environment,” said Steven MacLauchlan, CEO of Saint Vincent. “Our ‘A’ grade from The Leapfrog Group is a testament to that commitment.”

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 30 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign A, B, C, D and F grades to more than 2,600 U.S. hospitals twice per year. It is calculated by top patient safety experts, peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public.
