Zung Hoang, MD

As a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Hoang provides comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to women of all ages. She received her medical degree from Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine in Vietnam and specialty training in OB/GYN from the Medical University of Limoges, France. Her residency was with Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York, NY. Her clinical expertise includes a wide variety of services including preconception counseling, prenatal care, delivering babies, gynecological cancer screening and prevention, medical and surgical management of abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, minimally invasive surgeries, open surgeries, family planning, menopausal symptoms, pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Hoang's favorite and the most rewarding aspect of her career is to help women going through their pregnancies safely and bringing healthy babies into the world. She treats all of her patients as her family members and is committed to providing high quality and tailored care to each patient at a personal level. Dr. Hoang also highly values the team approach by collaborating with other primary care providers at Saint Vincent Medical Group. She firmly believes that the care coordination with primary care providers will better serve women and enable them to make the best decisions for their health, happiness and beauty. In her free time, Dr. Hoang enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, swimming and biking. She is fluent in English, Vietnamese and French.
