About Eddison Ramsaran
For over 30 years, Dr. Ramsaran has been a leading interventional and clinical cardiologist. He is currently the Director of the Cardiovascular Interventional Fellowship training program at St Vincent Hospital. Working closely with his clinical team, Dr. Ramsaran is able to offer comprehensive treatment options as solutions for patients with cardiac health issues. These include cardiac catheterizations, stent implantations, complex coronary artery interventions, heart failure, arrhythmias, lipid management and cardiovascular risk management, medical devices and complex coronary interventions. Dr. Ramsaran is the former Director of the Cardiac Catheterization laboratories and Interventional Cardiovascular Training program at Saint Vincent Hospital. During this time, Dr. Ramsaran has won several awards including "teacher of the year award". He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Ramsaran takes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, working with a full care team to develop a patientcare plan that is structured to the unique needs of his patients. He also understands that changes in health can be concerning for patients and their families. Dr. Ramsaran maintains open communication with patient's pre and post procedures. Dr. Ramsaran finds cardiology extremely rewarding and is excited about its future and the continuous evolution in medical solutions as they pertain to heart health. His special interests include: Interventional cardiology including stents/angioplasty, Complex coronary interventions, Mitral clip repair, Percutaneous aortic valve replacement, Nuclear cardiology, Pulmonary hypertension, Research protocols.

Front desk staff are always so patient.kind. Always greet me with a smile..all this while taking patient calls. Multi tasking for sure. The front desk staff brings a patient confidence while making the call to make an appointment is scary but the first step and accommodating trying to schedule patients around their schedule. I know this is difficult with so much demand and not enough counselors/therapist to go around.. So happy my new counselor was so gracious to take me on as a patient..Blessings..Patty smith

I found Dr. Ramsaran by chance as I was seeking a cardiologist who could see me in a timely manner. I then ended up in ER a week prior to appointment and met him there. I feel so incredibly lucky to have not only seen him in the hospital but as follow up. He is incredibly kind and makes sure you understand everything. He also makes sure he is doing everything in his power to be sure he is not missing anything and that the patient is healthy. I am grateful that my heart got the "all set to go" from Dr. R. And that if I ever need him for anything I will be back.
