Oncology Prehabilitation Treatment

Gain Strength for Your Journey

As you prepare for your fight against cancer, consider cancer prehabilitation to help you gain strength and improve outcomes.

What Is Oncology Prehabilitation?

Our unique program for those who are newly diagnosed with cancer and have yet to start with cancer treatment can help you:

  • Prepare for surgery and other upcoming cancer treatments
  • Utilize physical and speech therapy services in order to improve your physical and psychological outcomes during cancer treatment
  • Identify current health problems that can be improved before cancer treatment begins

Assessing Your Needs

During prehabilitation assessment, our prehabilitation specialist will determine your baseline status and identify current health problems that can be improved before cancer treatment begins. Our team will work to help you improve your baseline status and cultivate the coping skills and strength for starting cancer treatment.

Prehabilitation shouldn’t delay the start of your cancer treatment and is covered by most insurance plans. You’ll need to be referred for cancer prehabilitation by your doctor to be seen. We’ll work with you and your care team to create an individualized treatment plan.
