Saint Vincent Hospital Partial Hospital Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide compassionate, effective, patient-centered care for those struggling with significant psychiatric symptoms. Our multi-disciplinary team is committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment, and to facilitating improvement through multiple complimentary approaches.

What services are provided?

Partial Hospital Program (PHP): 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Mon-Fri.

  • Participants attend five groups daily, learning coping skills and mindfulness techniques that promote and sustain healing.
  • Intensive medication management is offered to stabilize psychiatric symptoms.
  • Case managers connect participants to appropriate community services
  • Dual diagnosis groups are offered to those with a combination of substance use and psychiatric symptoms.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Mon-Fri.

  • It is very common for PHP participants to transition to IOP treatment as they improve, allowing integration of new skills into daily living as treatment progresses.
  • In some cases, participants may begin treatment in the IOP program. Clients starting at IOP level of care generally do not require medication management.

Our Team

Our dedicated and compassionate PHP team includes a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioner, practice manager, and several clinicians/case workers.
