We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. To do so, we are actively working with consultants to update the website by increasing its accessibility and usability by persons who use assistive technologies
such as automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.
We are working to have the website conform to the relevant standards of the Section 508 Web Accessibility Standards developed by the United States Access Board, as
well as the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These standards and guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. We believe that conformance with these standards and
guidelines will help make the website more user friendly for all people.
Our efforts are ongoing. While we strive to have the website adhere to these guidelines and standards, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.
If, at any time, you have specific questions or concerns about the accessibility of any particular webpage, please contact WebsiteAccess@tenethealth.com so that we may be of assistance.

2020 Summer High School Student Program
Have you ever thought about a career in healthcare? Would you like to give back to your community? Volunteering during the summer at Saint Vincent Hospital will provide you with real-world experience in the healthcare field. As a member of our volunteer
team, you will learn new skills, make new friends and most importantly, make a real difference. We require that you be at least 15 years of age and commit to a minimum of 50 volunteer hours to attain your recognition certificate. Our flexible schedule
will work with you so you have time to enjoy your summer with family and friends. The program runs June 3 to September 6, 2019. The application portal opens March 16, 2020 and closes May 4, 2020. Space is limited and applications submitted after May
1 may not be eligible for summer volunteering hours.
Year-round opportunities for Adults, College Students & Teens
Want something positive and meaningful to do? Adult volunteers are invited to apply year-round for volunteer hours that work with your schedule. You must volunteer a minimum of 50 hours within a full school or calendar year. After class and during school
breaks we welcome high school students ages 16-18 years and college volunteers to assist in many different departments throughout our hospital. You can assist at the greeter stations or by assembling packets, working with the activity cart, filing
and more. It’s a great chance to help others, receive valuable experience, make connections and even secure letters of recommendation that may be useful when applying for college or future employment.
