The Curriculum

The residents rotate through a wide range of rotations consisting of 12 months total intermittent with podiatric training.

First-year residents rotate through:

  • Radiology
  • Internal Medicine
  • Anesthesiology
  • Vascular/General Surgery
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Pathology

Second-year residents rotate through:

  • Infectious Disease
  • Endocrinology
  • Rheumatology
  • Behavioral Medicine

Third-year residents dedicate their time to podiatric surgery and training.

An additional elective dermatology can be taken as a third-year resident. All residents have surgical and clinical rotation.

Call

First years take 13 weeks of primary call. Second years take 10 weeks of primary call. Third years take 5 weeks of call. Each primary call has an assigned back-up call resident.
