Internal Medicine Residency Program
Saint Vincent Hospital is a 348 bed, state-of-the-art acute care hospital located in Worcester, Massachusetts. Saint Vincent offers a variety of specialty care centers including but not limited to:
- Cardiovascular Medicine Center of Excellence, including open heart surgery, minimally invasive cardiac procedures including TAVR, Mitraclip and Watchman procedures
- State-of-the-art intensive care units
- Cancer medicine, which includes the latest modalities in cancer treatments including the Cyberknife in radiation oncology
- Family-centered maternal and fetal services
- Advanced surgical services, including robotic surgery, vascular, neurosurgery and cardiothoracic services
- Psychiatric services
- Orthopedic surgical center of excellence
- Advanced radiological services

Message from the Program Leadership
As the leadership team at Saint Vincent Hospital, we are confident you will find that our residency program provides a wonderful learning experience in a center of academic excellence nestled in a community of New England charm. The well-balanced instruction through scheduled didactics and individualized mentoring will give you a firm foundation in the practice of clinical medicine.
Residents rotate through an array of inpatient and ambulatory settings both in general medicine and specialties. Under the committed mentoring of seasoned clinicians, our residents develop clinical and communication skills as well as professionalism. They are also able to explore their long term career goals.
The Saint Vincent Hospital residency program will challenge you as well as prepare you for your future career.
