With a proud legacy of cardiac innovation—including performing the first open-heart surgery in the Worcester area in 1959—our institution remains committed to advancing cardiovascular care and training the next generation of leaders in interventional cardiology. Graduates of our program are well prepared to independently manage both routine and complex coronary interventions. Our alumni have gone on to thrive in both academic and private practice settings, with many serving as Cath Lab Directors and leaders in their field.
